MARK & KELLIE’S WEDDING

These two came to us as friends of Ryan, our first ever employee at Rift. Mark used to work with Ryan at Bunnings and knew that his workmate had a keen eye when it came to photography (that’s why I hired him too by the way).

Ryan also had a property down south for us to stay at. So we travelled down the day before the wedding to scout the property and the endless scenery and side roads the fill this great southern region.

We found a few gems on our travels, we just had to cross our fingers the rain stayed away the next day and that we got the light we were blessed with that day…

Highlights are done and dusted. Now, let’s get into the full day.

MICHAELA & RYAN’S WEDDING

AT BROOKSIDE VINEYARD IN THE HILLS

One of the most memorable moments I have with these two was our first meeting. I was just a young man at the time, not much of a coffee drinker, but meeting up at cafes is the cool thing to do. Right?

Ryan insisted the best way to get into the coffee scene was to have a double shot of espresso. In hindsight, it’s definitely a very abrupt way of doing it. However if I ever want my future children to stay away from coffee, I’ll have a rock solid strategy.

Anyway… the day arrives.

It was absolutely beautiful weather and the Australian sun was reminding us that sunscreen was invented for a good reason.

We even had a touch of royalty, Wildcats super-star Damian Martin, to make this all legal.

As night turned to day, and the kookaburras flew away (that rhymed) we were blessed with some amazing lighting and decorations to send off the night.
